FAMILY MASS & BRUNCH
OLOC FELL WALKERS – 8th August 2026
Our Lady’s Fell Walkers have two walks on Saturday 8th August 2026 from the village of Coniston in the Lake District National Park. The A Walk is 7.5 miles with an ascent of 2600 ft and the B walk is 6.36 miles with an ascent of 436 ft. Both walks have some parts which are quite steep and rocky. The A walk is higher and faster and the B walk, lower and slower.
We are a friendly group and everyone is welcome. The coach leaves from the corner of School Lane and Church Road, Formby, at 8am on the day and you can book your place by ringing 01704 878548. There is always an early stop for coffee/tea/bacon barms and time after the walk to visit shops, cafes and pubs in the area. Please wear good walking boots or shoes, weather appropriate clothing and bring a packed lunch together with something waterproof to sit on. Sticks are likely quite necessary on these walks and please remember to bring adequate fluids if the weather is very sunny, together with sunscreen.
